Baby DASHIELL PAUL KINNEY was born on November 21, 2009 at 6:15 pm. He was 7 lbs, 11 oz and 19 inches long and wow, what a sweet, bundle of baby boy joy he turned out to be! We love our brother!!! Here are some shots of the momentous day and week.... xoxo S & V

A Little Piece of Hoosier...

came to visit us this past week. Mama Vi & Baba Bill were in town to get some much needed QT with sis and I. It was a great visit. They also got to share in the Daddy birthday festivities, which is always a hootananny. Here are some pics of us in the fine, embroidered aprons Mama Vi brought back from her last trip to Italy. We love it when they come to visit and can't wait to see them again in December! xoxo S&V

It's my Daddy's Birthday!

Dear Daddy,

To quote our favorite literary diva, Fancy Nancy, you are fabulous, marvelous and all things extraordinary and we love you to pieces. May today be the best day of your life and may you indulge in every last bite of our pink, chocolate chip cake-tacular. We love you!!!

Halloween: East Sac Style

So, we went through 10 bags of candy at our house, M&D estimate that we must have had some 100 trick or treaters. When we ran out of candy, Daddy promptly turned the lights off and hoped the teenagers that were out past 10pm would stop ringing our doorbell (they did not). We had a blast, though, with our BFF's Lily & Annabel Govenar. We trick or treated for about an hour on our street and then headed home for some pizza and play time. All in all, a wonderful Halloween! xoxo S&V

Pumpkin Carving...

is not for the wimpy! Mommy almost went into labor last night trying to gut one of our ginormous pumpkins. We had a good time watching her slave away, dissecting the innards of this orange beast. Auntie TT and Grammy also helped with the endeavor. I even got to hold a knife at one point (promptly taken away by Mommy and replaced with a paint brush). VV much preferred the stickers and coloring to the actual carving. Here are some pics of our carving extravaganza.
